Gargash Enterprises strikes high with a successful 3rd Quarter 2013Exceeding the outstanding 2nd quarter performance, Gargash Enterprises has announced its 2013 third quarter sales results by declaring a 24% growth in Quarter 3 compared to Quarter 3 2012. Year to date, September, the company had recorded a growth of 22% units over the corresponding period in 2012.

This achievement was led by the introduction of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Launched in July, this contributed to the sales volumes in the July – September, 2013 and in fact, the high demand exceeded the company’s expectations. Ahead of its time, with its Intelligent Drive and impeccable interior, the S-Class sets new standards in the luxury segment.

Additionally, the SUV line achieved a great performance during the first three quarters, with a growth of 74% as compared to same period 2012. Until September 2013 the SUV share of total sales are at 34% compared to 24% same period last year. The strong Mercedes-Benz SUV line consists of the powerful GL 500, the elegant ML range and the newly launched GLK 250 and the sportier GLK 350.

The sales of AMG cars, the company’s high performance vehicle line up, have more than doubled or seen an increase of 107% during the first three quarters of 2013 compared to same time 2012. The AMG share of total sales represents 14%, driven mainly by the success of the G63 & G65 in the Dubai market.

“2012 was an excellent year, but 2013 has exceeded our expectations with the exceptional growth in New cars sales, Used Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles and in the Service & Parts operation. This shows that our strategies are not only taking sales to new heights, but are also enhancing the international sales share from this region.” said Karl-Johan Sandesjo, General Manager, Gargash Enterprises.
